Mental Health Support Worker

Support Worker (Days/Nights)

The Alexandra, Bournemouth

Up to £8.69 per hour + benefits

  • Basic Pay £8.38 per hour

Working Hours: 
08:00-14:00 / 14:00-20:00 / 20:00-08:00; including alternate weekends. Full time contracts (36hrs/week+) receive Amrial ExtraSmiles reward scheme with Perkbox and further earning opportunities through overtime.

Your new Support Worker job:


As a Support Worker, you'll be instrumental in enabling vulnerable people with mental health diagnosis to live with dignity and have the chance to be a professional joy-bringer. You will work as a team to ensure that the physical, social and emotional needs of our residents are met. This will involve encouragement and participation in activities as well as assistance with personal care and support.

 

Your story:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with people who have mental health diagnosis. You don’t need any qualifications to be a Support Worker however, we will train you!

What matters is kindness, good listening and communication skills and being a team player.

As long as you are positive, keen to learn and show initiative, with good people skills, we would like to hear from you.
